The book that is unforgettable for me is “Jaja & Din’” by Noor Suraya. This book is in Bahasa Malaysia and the last time I read it was when I was 13 years old. The story is about Jaja, who is a media planner and her father is a doctor. So basically she has a good social status. One day she was walking alone down a pavement, and she heard a lovely voice reading aloud one of surahs from the Quran. She recognised that the voice came from behind a fence that surrounded a graveyard. The fence acted like a wall from the city fuss and hence making it a peaceful place.

She took a liking of the owner’s voice and after that day, she would always walk around there and always had desired to meet the person face to face. The moment she visited the graveyard, she managed to meet him and asked him a few questions. She knows that she fell for him at first sight and asks her father to propose Din for her. Din is an Arabic teacher and knows that Jaja fell in love with him but Jaja does not have the characteristics of his dream wife. Will Din accept Jaja as his wife?

This book not only shared about love but it shared about the theories of Islam. I like this book because it makes my mind think deeper about Islam and adds to my knowledge towards it. Jaja manages to show that when we are astray from Him, we still have a chance to go back to the correct pathway. We have a lot of chances to make it and it all depends on us whether to grab it or not. It’s never too late to go back to our true roots. The knowledge that I get from this book is still being practiced by me for years. It is definitely a worthy reading book.
